"How much does this cost?" is usually the first question a facilities or procurement team asks, and it's also the hardest to answer honestly without seeing the site — corporate landscaping pricing varies enough between two campuses of similar size that a generic per-square-foot number is more misleading than useful.
The biggest driver is the ratio of hardscape and irrigated softscape to open turf. A courtyard with ornamental beds, water features and greenwalls costs meaningfully more to build and maintain than the same area of plain lawn, because it needs more specialised labour, more frequent attention, and more expensive planting stock.
For maintenance contracts specifically, staffing model is the next biggest factor: a dedicated on-site team gives faster response and better documentation than a rotating crew that visits a few times a week, but it costs more. Irrigation infrastructure age also matters — a site with failing or undocumented irrigation usually needs a correction phase priced separately from ongoing maintenance.
City and labour market matter too, though less than most people expect — the bigger swing is almost always scope, not location. A pan-India vendor pricing the same scope across Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi NCR should show you where the real cost differences are rather than quoting a flat rate that hides them.
The honest way to get an accurate number is a site visit and a clear scope document — design and execution, ongoing AMC, or both — rather than a phone-quote based on square footage alone. We're happy to walk a site and give a scoped estimate rather than a rough range that won't hold up once work starts.
