Named for its unmistakable spider-like blooms — narrow, elongated petals and sepals in yellow-green with dark speckling, held above arching strap-shaped leaves. An epiphytic orchid, best grown in a bark-based orchid mix rather than regular potting soil, and a strong choice wherever a flowering feature is wanted for a few weeks at a time.
